What Is TO SERVE HER WINTRY HUNGER?
To Serve Her Wintry Hunger is a zero-prep tabletop storytelling game designed for one-shot 1-3 hour dark fairy tale sessions. It can only be played with one facilitator and exactly 4 players, who each take on the role of one of the four spirits central to the story. To Serve Her Wintry Hunger concerns these four spirits, creatures of snow, ice, and wind, who serve a dark wintry mistress. A game of To Serve Her Wintry Hunger follows these vicious and braggart creatures on a hunt as the seek out a human lost and wandering in a winter storm. This is a game of ritual and poetry. Will your spirits be successful in their hunt? Or allow the human to escape... That is up to you.
Currently, To Serve Her Wintry Hunger is an "Ashcan Edition". All this means is that someday, I may release a more "complete" version of the game, hiring artists and editors. But for now, the game is fully complete and playable, and if there will be any changes they won't be coming for several years.
